CNC Mill Setup Machinist and Operator Weekday Position

We are seeking a CNC Mill Setup and Operator Machinist to join our team on our weekday shift. You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Job preparation including building tools, fixturing, material prep, loading work/tool offsets, etc. according to programmer specifications
- Coordinate with programmers on job progress & potential improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Provide innovative solutions to improve shop efficiency
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the shop floor
- Log and record readings for machined parts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shop operations or other related fields
- Familiarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
